New year, new beginning right? For the past 23 years, it's been such a cliché thing to do and see around me. Everyone wanting to start fresh and begin anew only to see them fall through the cracks months later. I've tried my hardest to not follow that mindset. It's been demoralizing seeing how people fall off track, and have difficulty putting themselves back on-track.
One day, things will be different.
So why Don Quixote? Not only is he the embodiment of a chivalrous knight, but the manifestation of change and the adaptability to it. His many adventures alongside his best friend are the many chapters of one's life. I'm ready to become a Don Quixote.
Like a veil that was covering your eyes and it has been lifted?
ReplyDeleteMay you be the best Don Quixote in today's digital world :-)
Welcome to IS101-3003, Spring 2023, Diego ^_^
Hi Diego! We deserve new beginnings and this is ours. "The first step towards getting somewhere is to decide you're not going to stay where you are." - JP Morgan
ReplyDeleteAdaptability. I find the idea to be complex overall but yet simple in most cases. Just like new beginnings. I wish you discernment during your travels in life to know when to be adaptable and change verses to be the change.
ReplyDeleteI just love this! I just loveeeee this. Please keep going on. You are reaching your point of enlightenment. This is inspiring.
ReplyDeleteWow, great most It's important for us to continue growing and adapting with the ever-changing world.
ReplyDeleteIt's been a few years since I read Don Quixote! Stay motivated and you will most certainly achieve your goals!
ReplyDeleteHello Diego, trying to be positive and having hope in an age of cynicism is indeed quite like Don Quixote. I hope you still have that attitude in the future and reach your goals.
ReplyDeleteSo happy you can see clearly now and are working towards bettering YOU. Not everyone can laser beam focus and do what they need to do.
ReplyDeleteNice to meet you, Diego Cano Leyva. Every single day is also a new start, a new start for improving ourselves.
ReplyDeleteI have heard that phrase many times as well but I do think it could be encouraging to some people and providing them a path to start with a new beginning. I am very happy that you are having a phenomenal experience in seeing life as it should be and being able to see as the veil over your eyes have been uncovered. I hope you continue to pursue a life as that compared to Don Quixote. I was also very fond of the title of your post it is true some can perceive sanity as madness because they can miss out on so much and living life as it is without the thrill/ joy of it is in fact maddest of them all.
ReplyDeleteNice to meet you, Diego. I too have a feeling that this year will be different for me. I'm sick of sitting as life passes me by. I need to get up and do what needs to be done to give myself a good life.
